Anybody notice this about American comedians?

Conservative comedians aren't funny, and liberal comedians are funny, but only when they're pretending to be conservatives(obviously only talking about political comedy). Why d'you think that is? It's easier to be funny when you're a conservative, but so few of them take that route. Cept maybe Ann Coulter.
