I have been out of the Army more than 10 years and have put my body through many aches and pains and broken bones no surgery though and nothing physically as anatomy wise to stop me. I go to the Veterans Hospital, will the Army go through my V.A. Medical Records to check my medical history? I have Acid Reflux and it is controled by medication. I have to take it every day. If I chage my diet I might be able to get rid of it or slow down but I have not tried yet. I am concerned that if I re-enlist and don't state that I have Acid Reflux and are in Basic Training and it gets worse and need medication again. Will they go throught my V.A. Medical Records? Does any know the severity of the punishment when they find out that I did not state that I have Acid Reflux in the first place. I have my mind set to get back in and I just don't want anything to stop it from happening.

Car Smoking Between Shifts ?

I have a 1992 AWD Turbo Eclipse and when I boost in between shifts it will dump a cloud of blue smoke. It doesnt smoke at idle or driving easy. It does however smoke from the dipstick and pop it out after boosting. It has a new pcv valve, new valve seals, and compression test is perfect. When i pull the oil cap off which makes the smoke come out of it instead of the dipstick its just blowing out and the car runs better?! Meanwhile its smoking out of the cap or dipstick it still has a lot of exhaust gas coming out of the tailpipe but its not smoke. Its also got a brand new Cometic MLS Head Gasket. My negative vacuum at idle is -9 and usually they are in the -15 - -20 range. Any ideas? All intake pipes including the intercooler itself is now coated in oil along with the throttle body and inside the intake manifold. No oil in airfilter, but from the oil coming out of the breather hose my intake/turbo is filled with oil. The turbo has absolutely no shaft play in anyway, but the wastegate flapper housing has cracks around it in the turbo exhaust housing (but I think that only effects spool time and poositive vacuum situations)

Hi, two years ago i expierenced a tingling senstion starting in my lip, within twenty minutes my left side of my face was numb from my top lip to just below the eye. This only lasted around an hour and was bareable. I experienced this a couple of times a year but they only last an ou sometimes i rub the area and the numbness goes by itself. It happened to me for the second time this morning (second time meaning second time it has gone from my top lip to below eye) in the same side as my face two years ago. Now i will probably get anwers saying it is bells pals, but bells palys involves other syntoms such as lack of hearing, face drop and no tatse,and bells palsy last for longer than my expiereinces. Schecter Damien Elite Avenger FR for my first guitar?

I wouldn't typically recommend a guitar with a Floyd Rose bridge as someone's first guitar. Those make tuning a real pain and, as a beginner you should just get something basic and inexpensive like a Squier or Ibanez and learn how to play. But, if you like it and don't mind messin' with the FR, Schecter makes great guitars. I had a C1 for a while and loved it (but I had the stop tailpiece - no tremolo bridge to mess with). Now I own a Parker and will probably never play any other electric guitar again (Parkers are phenomenal). I also happen to own and love acoustic guitars (and clical), but to each his own. Happy guitaring!

Does Anyone Know About Or Have TMJ, Tinnitus?

Okay I have neither tmj or tinnitus but I work for an ears nose and throat dr so I hear patients complaining of these issues a hundred times a day. Tmj is very different then tinnitus, tmj is when you open your mouth you feel a clicking sensation at your jaw joint in bad cases you can even hear it. This can be very painful depending on the severity sometimes it's worse in the am for different reasons such as if you possibly grind your teeth at night this doesn't really sound like what your describing but if it is I suggest you go see a dentist as they can fit you for a mouth gaurd for when you sleep this will keep your jaw in one position throughout the night you may also ake ibuprofen or an anti-inflamatory for tmj. Now for tinnitus there are several causes most often it could be due to exposure to a loud noise (ex. a lawn mower engine for an extended period of time, or a gun shot without ear protection). Also commonly just depending on if you have hearing loss and the type you have you can develop tinnitus. Taking a significant amount of aspein can also cause tinnitus. As far as treatment unfortunately there isn't much in the way of medicine most often we suggest trying products like miracle ear or something aling those lines which contain b12 some people see improvement some don't. Your doctor may also reccomend placing a ventilating tube in your ears this again SOMETIMES helps. Really your only otheroption would be to try and mask the tinnitus people do this by sleeping with say a radio or fan on and sometimes that takes the focus off the tinnitus others usually older patients will use hearing aids to mask the tinnitus. I hope I've given you some useful information from the sends of your problem I would probably start off with seeing a dentist they deal with plenty of tmj issues also they do sell mouth guards at most drugstores however I'm not sure how well they work since they are not specifically fit for each individuals mouth, if you have no luck with the dentist your next stop would be an ears nose and throat doctor they will most likely start you with a hearing test and then go from there probably offering you some of the options I've listed above. Best of luck as this issue tends to be very frustrating for most of our patients as well.

Hearing two fetal heartbeats...twins?

I have a heartbeatt doppler at home. I'm 16 weeks and noticed last night that i hear two different heartbeats. I've always heard mine and the baby's. The baby's which always sounds like a fast washing machine was registering at 162bpm...then about 3 inches over I heard another heartbeat that sounded like galloping horses and it registered at 152bpm. I had a cat who's kidney's were failing she was a stray when i took her in, the vet put her age at about 18 years when her kidney's started to fail, i didn't see any blood, but she had a terrible thirst and got very weak she was put on antibiotics which helped for a while but she went down hill very quickly over night ,she couldn't get up, and even went for a wee where she was led down. You need to realize that Mac is different than Windows. If you use a Mac, than when you close out of a program by clicking the X on, you are not closing the application, just the window. Both of those fully close the programs and allow you to fully log out.

Hi. I have just read your question and i share the exact experience with my 3 year old boy.. He started to walk at 18 months and his co-ord and balance are out. He tires a lot quicker than your average 3 year old and he's not active really at all. He still cant run or jump, and although it looks like he's just afraid to do things, its actually become clearer that he knows theres a good chance of him falling over AGAIN, and thats why he's just scared. He's speech is still not really there and the words that he can say are your basic one syllabull word. He's started intense physio, speech and OT therapy now and is improving slowly. Dont be afraid of the name - i used to be, but its only a name. It really just means that their developemental delays or disorders just makes them a little slower than other kids...but they are still ok. If you can find yourself a good therapist she will be just fine, but dont wait too long. So many kids out there today are labelled something, even those you think are completely fine, somehow, have some Disease, which is also a horrible name. I dont know what is normal in today's life anymore!!! Your daughter just needs a little therapy i think.. PS. does she sometimes walk with her arms held up, bending at the elbows?? if so, thats a clic sign also..

A problem bringing a knife into a mall in CA?

I carry a 12' knife with a 7' blade with me for work all the time, I must carry it 24/7 because I am on call 24/7, Aside from that it is perfectly legal to carry it in CA as it is a dirk or dagger because it is a ficed blade, aslong as it is worn openly it is not a crime. However while I was walking through the mall with girlfriend and my daughter the security guard had become annoying and started telling me that the knife wasnt aloud on there and attempting to trample on my right to carry a knife. More or less I wasnt in agreement with him. His only defense was that the mall is private property, However no where inside or outside of the mall did it state any type of weapons much less a knife in specific were not aloud. As I am aware I can carry my knife wherever I choose to unless it is on federal property or school grounds. aside form that a city mall is neither. I do not intend on taking my knife off and I do intend on going back there as it is my free right to shop at the damn mall just as it is to carry my knife, I believe in my rights. Now if anyone can tell me that I was wrong in this situation and the security guard was right please do. As far as I am concerned I was not aware that my knife wasn't aloud on the property, As far as I am concerned I am legally able to carry my knife on Private property until there is a sign or warning saying otherwise, not a verbal word from a man that barley does his job as it is. i have a 3000gt and its driving fine just like it always have been, and i just pulled into a parkin and had to move so i restarted the car and it was ruff like Fuel presser problems but it did start and then white smoke came pouring out more and more then i reved it and more. but then i drove it and it went away. drove it next day fine as i was drving i noticed smoked again. it dosnt smell like anti freeze, its white as hell. but the car drives fine. one day i lost alot of anti freeze but it was way b4 this problem. now i do notice a slight fluctuation in the level. but not realy loosing any specialy with the amont of smoke comming out what elce can cause white smoke. the car drives fine like it did be b4. no change in drving style. what could this be what should i do to get a little more life if it is the head gasket. i just want a couple of more months if i can but can drive with a smoke screen.

Our goal was to run in 1:35 min around the track and i did it in 1:36 and when i was running like at midway point of the track it was really hard to breathe and felt like my legs were going to give up. And when we went up again, (about 10 min later) our goal was 1:50 and while i tried to run/jog my body couldnt take it anymore the more i pushed my self the worst it was. I ended up with 2:03 min. so my mom wanted a dog, she went out and found this big lab mix that had been formerly abused. shes big, rowdy, loud and requires allot of attention. but shes also very sweet. the problem is we (had) 4 cats. the dog got pissy at one of my cats which caused him to run away, we found him dead three days later next to a lake. we believe he was killed by someone. She didn't say much else so I researched my notes and now I know. I lost 2000ml blood and haehmoraged and was in High Dependency THEY SAID ANYTHING AT 1000ml blood loss is cled as MAJOR! I LOST DOUBLE THAT!! My son was born with a APGAR of 2!! They say anything between 2-3 is FATAL!! I am now so worried. I am scared they will NOT allow me to have selective C and I am so scared something like this will happen again!! I am due to speak with Cunsultant in 3 weeks were they will look through notes and make a decision. AT first I did NOT want another C cos I am scared of the scaring/belly being worse!! AND the recovery is longer and I will have a 2 yeard old to look after too!! BUT now I have done my research and realised how bad things were I don't want any risk to my unborn baby. I have been told that there are chances I will end up having another ermergency if I attempt a l birth after energency C anyway and that the scar could rupture?? I am petrified and would like to known if anyone has been through anything silimlair?? Am I best trying for L birth, BUT what if something goes wrong and the same thing happens this time OR should I push for PLANNED C to avoid the risk of this happeneing again? Especially if the chances are I will end up having Emergeny C anyway?? What is they say I can't have one?? Best Rebuild For a DSM 1993 Talon TSI AWD?

I just bought the car for $1,400 and it is in great shape and runs great. The down side is that it has 152,000 miles on it so I want to rebuild it. I don't plan on running over a 16G turbo and I'm not sure weather it would be better to go with completely OEM parts or to put some aftermarket stuff in. I'm looking for the most bang for my buck here. I plan on getting a cold air intake and a full 3" exhaust. I'm not sure yet if its a six or seven bolt right now because I guess it could be either in that year if you have any help on figuring that out that would be great too. I've never owned a DSM before but have wanted one for years and this deal was too good to p up. My step-son (12yrs) wants to come and live with us for a year or 2. It is OK with the mother. She said that she will signed two different notarized letters.One approving the child to come & live with us and the other where she will be returning what my hubby sends her as child support. well, it is hard to say...would be noce to know how old you are, but I ume in middle or high school? Tell him that you were playing around. Have i fried my amplifiers?

hey guys i had to disconnect all my wiring leading up to my two amplifiers on the back of the subwoofer (720w kenwood and JL audio monoblock) to get to my spare tyre few nights ago. when i tried rewiring it all back together again i did a dumb **** and forgot to disconnect the power cable from the battery and accidently put the power cable into the ground terminal on the kenwood. i did notice a few sparks and strong burning smell coming off the end of the power cable where the end of the ground wire accidentally tapped against it. after i corrected my mistake and rewired everything back to the way it was before, the amplifiers just wont turn on. i tested the remote wire, ground wire and power wire with the multimeter and there is definately 12v feeding into the 2 amplifiers. does anyone know why they wont come on?????

Please help me, my sister has cancer?

hi, sorry i didnt know what to put for the question. anyways, im 14 years old and in 8th grade. 2 years ago february 9, 2009, my big sister got cancer (leukemia). of course no one was in the best mood but at the time it wasnt the worst. she got to come home some days then would have to go back to the hospital for another week or so. it increasingly got worse and not too long ago she had to be transfered to a different hospital because she went into septic shock or (critical condition) that maybe lasted a few weeks and at that time she had a 40% chance of surviving. she got a little better and was expecting to get out of the hospital in may and her cancer was almost gone, which was great! i was so excited! then one day my dad told me that for the third time her cancer came back and in order to survive she would have to go through a large dose of chemo therapy then the stem cell transplant. unfortunatley, the doctor said that might not even work and now the doctor is waiting forever to start chemo even though its the perfect timing, (when my sister is doing a little better). as of now she has about a 20% chance. i am kind of afraid that my sister just wants to give up and isnt telling us because whenever i see her she usually says shes sorry and doesnt like how we go through so much trouble for her and spend so much money, but i tell her thats not true. honestly, its kind of hard to even make it through school everyday thinking that something could happen to her. and whenever my friends or teachers try and talk to me about it i just break down and start crying. i cant just let my big sister die like that i have looked up to her for the longest time and we have so many great memories together and im starting to think both me and my mom are getting depressed. by the way i have another brother and sister and a brother in law . this is really hard for all of us. it kind of seems like her doctor knows she wont make it but isnt telling us but she gave my sister the option of taking a ton of drugs so it will be a painless death. i really cant let her do this! i know she is going through a lot of pain but i really dont know what to do anymore i need her! she means the world to me! please help me! sorry for writing so much.

Dazzle DVC-100 Problems?

my dazzle recorder use to work on my old computer that ran on windows xp and it had some problems with it that couldn't be fix so after words i got a new one that runs on windows 7 and when i record it with the pinnacle instant dvd recorder that i used on my old pc it starts off good but at some point the frames start to jump and so does the audio and i hit stop and look at it the video is all jumpy and as for the audio the longer i record, the farther away the audio gets from the point of video it goes with. Has any had this problem and if so was there a way you fixed and can still use your Dazzle DVC 100 on your pc recording everything right?

The satin and suede will not go well together. The satin is not as stretchy as suede. Like the other posters said, the stitches will pull and frey. Why not combine suede and knit panels together? When I say knit panels, you can go to the thrift store and find a bunch of sweaters and cut them into panels or squares and sew them together and then to the suede.
