Have i fried my amplifiers?

hey guys i had to disconnect all my wiring leading up to my two amplifiers on the back of the subwoofer (720w kenwood and JL audio monoblock) to get to my spare tyre few nights ago. when i tried rewiring it all back together again i did a dumb **** and forgot to disconnect the power cable from the battery and accidently put the power cable into the ground terminal on the kenwood. i did notice a few sparks and strong burning smell coming off the end of the power cable where the end of the ground wire accidentally tapped against it. after i corrected my mistake and rewired everything back to the way it was before, the amplifiers just wont turn on. i tested the remote wire, ground wire and power wire with the multimeter and there is definately 12v feeding into the 2 amplifiers. does anyone know why they wont come on?????
