Please help me..My white fleeze like throw keeps shedding on darker fabric. I even washed it several times.?

If I put the white blanket on my blue sheets, the sheets get COVERED in white lint. I washed the blanket a few times..with different drying options each time..i tried tumble dry, low heat, delicates, and regular. I don't know how to fix this. Please offer any suggestions. I would try to air dry but I dont think this will really help. Thank you so much.
