Why do people hide in the politics section just to be mean to people with other opinions?

its just disgusting that people who live in the same country can't just get along instead of being immature cyber bullies. and by the way i'm posting this in somewhere besides politics and government because i know they're hiding, waiting to pounce on someone with a different opinion.
