Any advice for becoming a DEA agent?

Im currently a sopre in high school. I take all honors cles and have a 3.3 gpa. Once I am done with high schooll I would like to go to college and become a police officer/Ohio State Highway Patrol officer.That's's where the trouble starts - If I were to go to college right after high school, I would major in criminal justice, but what about military experience? Im sure that would be helpful in a job, but where would you start? Before or after college. If you have the right qualifications and and are a good choice, is it possible to go straight into an state trooper position. After being a state trooper I would like to become a DEA agent and eventually go into the homicide unit. Any advice for strating out?
